Be sure to mark your calendars!! Marie's times for QVC this August have been released! She will be on Friday, August 20th. She will be on from 4-5:00pm ET. At 9:00pm ET will be the Christmas Show. Marie will have 1 doll featured on that show; Adora Holly Belle. Then, she will have an additional 2 hour slot from 10pm- Midnight that same night. Teresa from New York sent me some of her tasty artwork she created over the Easter holiday weekend. Some artists work best with clay...others with canvas...Teresa can work wonders with Peeps Marshmellow candy! Maybe this is why 17 million of them are sold every year...for art projects. (smiles)

The other night, I was out at dinner with a girlfriend and she likes to put toothpicks under her Peeps arms and put them in the microwave. She then turns it on and watches them have sword fights. I haven't tried this one...let me know if it works!

I've finally managed to surface after some very hectic holidays (but they were fun.) At one point, on Christmas day, my baby, Abby, was sitting on the living room floor neck-deep in gift-wrap and bows. Paris, our cat, took off until New Year's eve there was so much confusion. Or, maybe it was because we got the kids a puppy, which they named Sushi. What a great idea to name the dog after "fish!" Now, the cat wants to eat the dog.

2003 held many blessings in my life; one of them was having the chance to meet so many of you. Speaking with you personally has inspired me to take an opportunity presented to me for 2004. Some of you already know I've been asked to do a daily radio show that will air nationally in the afternoon hours.

We were originally going to launch the show in December but, as it turns out, the studio being set up in Utah was not ready for broadcast. I'm really excited about this radio show because it will encompass so many aspects and issues of current life for women (and men, so we can facilitate them in growing up, smiles) of all ages. AND, here's the fun part.it also includes you personally. I want to talk, on-air, to people from all around the country.

So, here's what I'd like to ask you to do. I'll be visiting the forums from time to time to ask your opinions and get your interesting ideas as well as your personal stories. My producer and I will collect all emails and could soon be in touch with you to be on the show.

On the forum, I'll be asking questions about specific topics, but I'd also love to hear about any interesting, funny, or touching experience you have had. One thing I've learned quickly is that radio is an abbreviated format, 2 minutes or less, which I love because it's like most women.we like to get to the point. (I tried to teach Donny to get to the point, but it never worked) That being said, we need the "main" points to your idea or story only.

Here are some topics I'd like to hear your ideas on for the first week of January:

1.) Do you have any household or personal care "quirky" tips that work? (For example: One woman makes her bed while she's still in it and then slips carefully out of the side to not mess it up!)

2.) Do you have a personal mentor? Or are you a mentor (guide) to a younger person? What person inspires or counsels you? How have they changed your life or how have you changed the life of someone who looks up to you? (Specific ways are best. For example: "Mrs. Spears taught me the importance in visiting the elderly. We made home-baked goods together to personally deliver to a nursing home.")

3.) Teenage years are a tough time, both for child and parent. Do you have any ideas to helping your relationship survive with the teenager in your life? And would you be interested in advice from a professional counselor on our show? Do you have any stories of troubled kids who turned out great? What changed for them or you?

In this show I really want to dwell on the positive, (there's so much negative in the world already) especially how women can be a support system for each other. I hope that interests you, too.

Thanks so much for giving these questions some consideration. Answer any or all of them. We will also be setting up a phone line soon, but for now please email your stories and ideas back. The sooner the better, (did I tell you the SOONER the BETTER) as we plan to go into the studio next week! You may not hear from my producers right away. Some ideas we may save for future shows. Please know that I appreciate all of your emails though I won't have the time to answer them personally.

Marie will be attending the Rosemont Collectibles show in Chicago, IL on June 27 & 28, 2003. She will be signing her show exclusive doll, "Chasing Rainbows", from 11:00 - 3:00pm both days. Friday's signing will be for retailers only, however, Saturday's signing will be open to the public. Collectors can bring 1 outside doll from home to be signed, along with "Chasing Rainbows".

Twelve years ago, Marie appeared on the August 1991 cover of Doll Reader magazine, becoming the first human to grace a Doll Reader cover. In celebration of Marie's 12th Anniversary of her doll line, Marie will once again appear on the cover of the August 2003 issue of Doll Reader. Just like the August 1991 issue has become a collector's item, this issue is destined to become one too...plan now to pick up your copy!

Marie is featured on the cover with "Young Love", the next doll in her beautiful "Coming Up Roses" collection. This is Marie's first time ever working with award-winning sculptor, Emily Garthright. "Young Love" will debut as the Today's Special Value on Collector's Day in August on QVC.

Marie will be at Disneyland on December 8, 2001 for a doll signing. The signing will be at Gepetto's Toys and Gifts in Fantasyland from 1:30 - 4:00pm. No outside dolls will be allowed. There will be an exclusive doll, "Adora Belle Tour Guide" available at this signing.

For those of you who would like to see a picture of the one-of-a-kind Snow White Snow Flake Toddler, being auctioned at Disney World on November 30th through December 2nd, click here. As mentioned below, there will be a Snow White Snow Flake Tiny Tot, with an open edition, that will be available at Disney World and Disneyland. Please note that the outfit for the Snow White Snow Flake Tiny Tot will look slightly different than the original Toddler. The original's costume has very expensive detailing - the Tiny Tot's costume has been modified slightly to bring down the price to within normal range of a Tiny Tot.

Marie will be at the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo at the Epcot Center at Disney World November 30th through December 2nd. There will a one-of-a-kind Snow White Snow Flake Toddler auctioned off, beginning on November 30th. This will be a silent auction and will be open to all Epcot guests. The auction will end at 12:30pm on December 2nd. There will be Tiny Tots of Snow White Snow Flake available for purchase, as well as a limited edition set of the Disney Christmas Belle Toddler and Tiny Tot entitled, "Me and My Belle". This is a limited edition of 50.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my dear mother, Olive, suffered a serious stroke this morning. She is being life-flighted to the hospital and we as a family are awaiting further news of her condition.

Many of you know how much I believe in, and rely on, the power of prayer in my life, as do many of you. I would like to make a personal request to each of you today to keep my mother in your prayers.

The QVC show for Marie's new figurine line, "Little Miracles" , has been re-scheduled for January 10, 2002. More details will be posted as the show approaches.

Marie's show line up for her October 19th QVC show is now available by clicking here. Not all of the pictures are available, but will be posted soon.

Marie's next appearance on QVC will be October 19, 2001. Showtimes will be 10:00 - Noon and 8:00 - 10:00pm EST. Details on the show's line-up will be posted as soon as photos become available. This will be a doll show. Marie's figurine show is still in the process of being rescheduled and will likely be set for early next year.

"Due to the tragedy and great sorrow inflicted upon our country by cowardly terrorists last Tuesday, September 11th, I feel it would be inappropriate for me to appear on QVC next Wednesday, September 19th, as previously planned.

With QVC's cooperation, we are therefore cancelling my apprearance on that date and postponing the debut of my new figurine line with Ashton-Drake until a more appropriate time in the future.

I am sure that all of you, along with me, will want to show our respect and sorrow for those unfortunate souls whose lives were so cruely and unexpectedly taken, and to show our support for their families as we join them in their grief."

Here is the information for Marie's doll signing at the Disneyana Convention on Saturday, September 8, 2001. The signing will take place at the Disneyland Hotel in the Grand Ballroom from 9:00am - 1:30pm. Tickets are required for the signing. Tickets can be purchased at the Disneyland Hotel or may be reserved in advance by calling their ticket office at 407-827-7600. If you have questions, please call the ticket office for more information. No outside dolls are allowed, however all dolls purchased there will be signed.

Marie will be attending the Disneyana Convention at Disneyland on September 7 & 8, 2001. Marie will also have a doll signing during this convention. Information on the signing time and place will be posted as soon as the information is confirmed.

Marie will also be signing at the Doll Market in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 6, 2001 and at Lane's Toyland on November 17, 2001. More detailed information on signing specifics to follow.

Marie is selling several Barbies from her personal collection on E-Bay! Listed for sale so far is her Walt Disney World Barbie, Pretty Choices Barbie, Statue of Liberty Barbie and the Chinese Empress Barbie. You may view her auctions under the seller name kestwest1. Marie will be listing her entire Happy Holidays Barbie collection soon, as well as other Barbies from her collection.

Marie will be returning to QVC on September 19, 2001 to debut her new figurine line! Show time is from 10 - 11:00pm EST. More information on the new figurines is coming soon. Marie will not be featuring her dolls in this show, but will be back to QVC in October and November with several new dolls just in time for the holidays!

Marie will be cutting the ribbon at the Doll and Teddy Bear Expo East in Washington D.C. on August 24, 2001 at 1:00pm EST. She will then sign dolls for retailers in the Knickerbocker booth from 1:30 - 3:30pm. On Saturday, August 25th, she will cut the ribbon again for the public at 9:00am. Following, she will be signing her 10th Anniversary Doll book at the Portfolio Press booth from 9:00- 11:00am, and then she will sign dolls at the Knickerbocker booth from 11:00 - 2:00pm. There will be a limit of 2 items per person to be signed. Please note, at the Portfolio Press booth, Marie will only be signing doll books that have been purchased at that booth. If you already have a doll book that you would like signed, Marie will sign it at the Knickerbocker booth.

Marie is badly in need of more storage space in her home, and rather than get rid of some of her children (smiles)... she has decided to thin out her collection of collectibles instead! The first in her collection to go is her Donny & Marie Wreath Radko ornaments and her Marie & Child Radko ornaments, both of which were given exclusively to Donny & Marie show audiences in 1998 and 1999. These ornaments will be hand-signed by Marie and are very limited. The first 2 ornaments are up for auction now on E-Bay! Great news for all UK doll collectors..Marie will be returning to QVC-UK on August 6, 2001! Her show will be from 12 Noon to 2:00pm ET.

Update on the Rosemont doll signing...Marie will be signing for retailers on Friday, June 29, from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm. The signing for consumers is still scheduled for Saturday, June 30, from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm. The limit is 2 dolls per person.

Marie will be doing a doll signing at the International Collectibles Expo in Rosemont, IL, on Saturday, June 30th, from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm.

Marie apologizes for not being able to make it to the Lifetime Chat. However, for all those who would still like to chat with Marie, she will be participating in an on-line chat through QVC on May 22nd from 7 - 8:00 pm EST, directly after her show. More information regarding the chat will be given during Marie's show. Show time is from 5 - 7:00pm EST.

The Children's Miracle Network telethon, which is broadcast from Disneyworld in Florida, is scheduled for June 2 & 3, 2001.

You're probably familiar with the original "Ashley", our first sleeping toddler doll, who debuted in 1995 and was sculpted by Beverly Stoehr. After having what Marie terms a "power nap"...it's time for "Ashley" to wake up! And Marie wants you to help design her from head to toe.

Mark your calendars! Marie's next show on QVC will be on May 25, 2001. Information regarding showtimes and new dolls will be posted the first part of May. Among the new dolls for the show will be Disney's "Baby Belle Tiny Tot". This will be her debut on QVC as she has only been previously available through Disney.

Marie Osmond Collector Dolls will be seen on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 6:00 am and 7:00 p.m. CST on QVC. In honor of her 10th Anniversary of dolls, Marie has given her doll box and packaging a new logo and design. This new packaging will be unveiled on the 13th!
