The Proposal

Congratulations to the happy couple!!"Two years ago I made a friend on Donny.com and the Osmond Phorum.
I live in Indiana and she (Valerie) lives in LA. We wrote as friends only, for a year. Then I flew to LA to celebrate with Osmond fans from around the world as the Osmond's received their very much deserved star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Not to sound corny, but when Valerie and I met face to face we just knew that there was something more powerful going than just friends.
To make a long story short, after a long-distance courtship I knew that God had blessed me with an amazing partner.
I wanted to ask her to marry me and I wanted to make it very special and somehow tie in the Osmond's into the proposal since if it weren't for the Osmonds we would never have met.
On December 9th Valerie was going to go watch a taping of Pyramid with some of her girlfriends. Without Valerie knowing, I contacted Donny Osmond and told him about how Valerie and I met and asked if I could sneak to LA and propose to Valerie with Donny by my side.
The next thing I knew I was on a plane to LA!!! I was escorted into Sony Studios under secrecy, and met with Donny in his dressing room.
Valerie had no idea that I was there.
As Donny started the game he said "Here are the next six categories...."
They read: "WILL YOU MARRY ME VALERIE? LOVE TOM".
Donny said that Valerie was in the audience as they put the camera on her to catch her stunned reaction. Donny then said "Tom come on out!" as I walked onto the set.
Valerie's jaw dropped open again!
I walked up into the audience and got down on one knee.
As the audience stood there cheering, clapping and crying, I proposed to my sweetheart.
