March 26, 2002- Jenny Vliers informed us that the Hallmark Channel
(Europe - Belgium) will be broadcasting the movie 'Inside the Osmonds' on Wednesday March 27th at 6:00 am and again on Thursday March 28th at 2:00 pm. Set your VCRs!
March 24, 2002- The silent auction on Jay's site featuring artwork by his boys, has been extended. Osmond.com has undergone some routine maintenance, and it prevented the silent auction bids from being posted. The auction will now close Monday, March 25, 9:00 PM EST - so there is still plenty of time to get those bids in!
March 23, 2002- Marion Webster wanted all of Donny's British fans to know that he can be seen on 'Fear Factor' on Sky T.V. on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 9:00 pm British time. Don't miss it!
March 20, 2002- Word at ET is that Donny sang 'One Bad Apple' at Liza Minnelli's wedding this weekend.

March 8, 2002- Donny will featured on the Paralympics on NBC airing this Saturday, March 9th at 1:00 pm CST. This competion was filmed on March 7th at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT. Be sure to set the VCR's!

February 27, 2002- Another Osmond addition!!!
Sophia, Zachary and Wyatt are excited to announce the birth of their new sister, Isabella Olive Renae Osmond! She weighs 7 pounds and 10 ounces, and is 20 1/2 inches long. She arrived today at 8:01 am. Jimmy says the baby is really cute and has jet black hair! Isabella's middle name is after both of her grandmothers and is the 58th grandchild of George and Olive Osmond. Michelle and Isabella are both doing well. Congratulations to the Jimmy Osmond family!
- The Family pages have been updated with more findings in our series about Infertility - what has been happening in the Mendez's quest to have children in our Adoption and Infertility section.

February 24, 2002- There are a few rare Collectible items on the Osmond auction block including the 2nd newsletter of the Osmond Boys from November,1988, a copy of The Osmond Brothers 25th Anniversary Book, a rare 2nd G Disney Show Script, and an exclusive 'Side By Side' Script signed by Alan Osmond. All proceeds benefit the One Heart Organization. But hurry because the items will be gone soon!
February 23, 2002- You can stop looking for Donny on Jay Leno's Tonight Show! He was featured in a small portion of Jay Leno's Olympic Dream on Thursday's show....Donny and his shiny teeth!
- Be sure to watch the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics scheduled for Sunday, February 24, 2002 at 7:00 pm CST on NBC. Work has it that an Osmond or two may stop in!

February 18, 2002- Donny is scheduled to appear in a skit on Jay Leno's Tonight Show on NBC this Wednesday, February 20th as it was postponed from an earlier date. Check your local listings for details.
February 17, 2002- Second Generation member, Nathan Osmond and his fiancee, Sarah Reynolds will be wed at the Salt Lake City Temple on March 7, 2002. Please sign their congratulations guestbook to send along your best wishes for their new lives together.

February 11, 2002- KBYU Television will air a series of five-minute updates for Olympic spectators through February 24th, hosted by Donny and Marie Osmond highlighting a variety of Utah's community events, concerts, exhibitions and tourist attractions.
"Time Out for Utah" will air each hour, from 6:55 a.m. through 10:55 p.m. Each update will showcase major tourist attractions and will include a calendar of events and activities.

February 7, 2002- Check out the NEW Donny & Marie video clip located on the Family.com, as they team up again to talk about family!
- Donny, Marie and Father Osmond were featured on Entertainment Tonight with footage on their historical Olympic Torch Carry in Utah.
February 6, 2002- If you're in Utah rise and shine! Be sure to be on the streets to welcome the Olympic torch and cheer on Donny, Marie and Father Osmond as they bear the Olympic torch!
Donny will be carrying the Olympic Torch in American Fork Utah at 7:12 a.m. The carry will begin at State Street and 4650 West in American Fork and go up 4650 West. Marie will be passing the torch to Father Osmond and he will then pass the torch to Donny. Donny will run up 4650 West, in front of Dan Petersen Elementary School (169
North 1100 East), and turn left on 8300 North to 1053 East where he will pass the torch to the next runner.
February 5, 2002- In case you missed Donny on the Travel channel we are happy to report that it will be repeated on Saturday, February 9th at 3:00 pm PST.
- And just a reminder that the 2nd G will perform at the celebration for the arrival of the Olympic Torch in the BYU Lavelle Edwards Stadium parking lot today at 8:15 p.m. in Provo, UT. Be sure to arrive early to get in on all the fun!
February 3, 2002- A new Press Release has been published for Warming Families, as we are expanding and including Nursing Homes in our list of places to receive donations.
We also still have a great need for Area Volunteers in many states, provinces and countries. Here is a current list to review if any of you would like to really help out doing charity work, please consider becoming an AV for Warming Families. We are still fairly new and seems the magazines and such have just not picked up on us yet, so we NEED more AV's. If you are interested please email bev@thefamily.com and the information that you need to get started will be sent.
February 2, 2002- Donny is scheduled to appear on Extra Weekend edition on February 2, 2002. Please check local listings for specific times and channels.
He is also going to be featured on the Travel Channel on Monday, February 4th at 8 pm CT and 11 pm CT touring Utah as it prepares for this year's Winter Olympics.
- We have been notified by Jo Devereux that the Breeze TV Channel responsible for airing Donny & Marie Shows in the UK has been closed down without warning or explaination. We have no further details or explanation regarding this development.
February 1, 2002- Don't even touch your VCR that taped Marie's appearance on ET yesterday! Donny is scheduled to be on Entertainment Tonight, on February 1st showing his hometown related to the Olympic celebrations! Check your local listings for details in your area.
January 31, 2002- Thanks to Nathan and Sarah for plugging along with the chat in spite of technical difficulties in the original location. And a great BIG thank you for everyone who took the time to locate the new chatroom!

- It's been announced that Marie Osmond will be featured on Entertainment Tonight on January 31st to discuss her Mother's health and other rumors that have been circulating about her personal life.
Check your local listings for times in your area.
- The 2nd Generation has been advised that the entertainment portion of the celebration for the arrival of the Olympic Torch in the BYU Lavelle Edwards Stadium parking lot on February 5th may commence earlier than planned.
Word has it that the performers will begin at 8:15 p.m. In order to be on time for this momentous event, we ask that you arrive by 7:15 p.m. so you do not miss out on any portion of this great event!

Nathan's chat has been moved to the general OsCom site in the Osmond Public Room as the Backstage one is not working currently. Same time!

January 20, 2002- Thanks to all who donated to the Festival of Trees Project. As a result of all of your heartfelt donations, $1100 was raised for Children's Hospitals. Thanks again for your generosity! More photos will be posted soon - thanks to Elaine Swails.
Warming Families has a brand new look! We are still working on it, but day by day the pages are changing. We have a new staff also with our new year, and many exciting prospects for the future! Bev Qualheim is the director and webmaster, Kaye Rogers is our project leader and Mair Daliessio is our assistant leader. We have need of new AV's as always, as we try to warm more homeless and displaced families. Please check the site to see if you can help and be a volunteer to areas without leaders.

January 17, 2002- We are excited to announce that the Osmonds are part of the momentous Olympic Torch Relay. On February 6th, Marie will begin the Osmond carry in Cedar City, Utah passing it to Father Osmond who will relay it to Donny. Donny will then be carrying the Olympic Torch in American Fork, Utah.

January 14, 2002- Sharon Sausen spotted a DVD by Walt Disney titled, DisneyLand USA. The production contains an early version of the Osmond Brothers on it. It's a must for any Osmond fan!
