December 28, 2001- BACKSTAGE MEMBERS!
With it being the end of the year, we have done some major Administration work with our Backstage records. In doing so, many memberships that had previously expired and slipped through our records have now been notified to renew their membership within the next month. Those memberships who were previously sent reminders and we received no renewals, those memberships have now expired and have been marked so in our records. Notices have been sent out today (12-28-01) reminding Backstage members who have memberships that expire during the month of JANUARY 2002 that it is time to renew. If you feel you have received this reminder or a cancellation in error, you need only to kindly write us at backstage@osmond.net and provide us your name (first and last name required) along with a brief explanation and we will check our records. If we have made an error we will gladly correct it. Please be patient with us as it is still the holiday season and many of us are out of pocket spending time with our families. We will, however, give your messages our prompt attention. Remember, the reminder notices were sent to those whose membership will expire the last day of the month of January 2002. Thank you, Backstage Membership

Our store software is going to be upgraded and it will be more friendly and reasonable to you all who purchase items there. We will address these changes and others after the first of the year. We hope you will continue to support us as we grow and continue to make Osmond Network a friendly and safe family community on the internet and through the efforts of One Heart Foundation, an informative and charitable place for the family. REQUIREMENTS: 1) You must know HTML well enough to create interesting web pages with good content on family life. 2) You know how to use FTP to send webpages to a server. 3) We need people who can also write creative, interesting articles and such to add to the content; but if you are unable to do this, I do need staff who can copy and paste articles submitted into a template using html, and then post those. 4) You are trustworthy and have a strong desire to strengthen families
worldwide. :-) I am working many of our pages at this time, and really need help. Please know that being on the staff does not mean you will meet any Osmonds. We do not meet in an office with them, ;-) we work from our homes. This is a voluntary position, and you must be able to update at least once a month. Please email me privately at bevq@osmond.net. If you meet these requirements and would like to join our little 'family' :-) Bev" - BACKSTAGE MEMBERS!

- As all of you already know, Donny did not win 'Fear Factor,' but his contribution did not go unnoticed by brother, Alan:
My brother, Donny Osmond, appeared on FEAR FACTOR TV show tonight. He did a great job competing and had scorpions, worms, etc. crawling all over his face. Although he didn't win, he donated his reward money of $25,000 to our charity, One Heart Foundation for "Strengthening Families"! Thank you Brother!!! Alan - In the December 7th issue of TV Guide:
"Johnny Bravo (left)is a man of cartoonishly big biceps, bigger hair and, biggest of all, attitude. Donny Osmond is, well, Donny Osmond. These opposites team up on a special holiday episode of Cartoon Network's 'Johnny Bravo' (December 7, 8 P.M./ET). Johnny wants to personally deliver his lengthy wish list to Santa, and Donny assists in a mad dash to the North Pole. This won't be the singer's first trip to cartoonland--remember The Osmonds?--but the funny pairing of Donny and Johnny might help kids understand why Mom and Dad know all the words to 'One Bad Apple.'"

Alan Osmond, a lifelong supporter of BYU, is currently working with the university through Richard Wilkins, a BYU law professor. He is partnering with Wilkins on the World Congress of Families, and is serving as executive producer of a film with Wilkins. In late 1979, Osmond planned, organized and orchestrated two Osmond family concerts in BYU's Marriott Center. All proceeds were offered as a donation to BYU. October 1, 2001- We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the unbelievable response we've received to the American Flag Pins! As you know, 100% of the proceeds collected from these pins will be donated to the American Red Cross to help those families directly affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks out east.
We have recently received several inquiries regarding shipping and handling charges for these pins. We have worked with our distributor to make it easier for you to order several pins and pay only one low shipping price!
If you have already ordered the pins without the discounted shipping and handling fees, we would like to inform you that 100% of the extra proceeds minus the mailing fees will be donated to the American Red Cross. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds for shipping and handling costs -- so we are making sure that any surplus of monies is donated. We believe this is the best way to handle your gift dollars, and we also believe that you would much rather have these monies go to the relief fund. The amount of donation dollars that are collected will be tabulated and reported. Again, we thank you so much for your participation in this program. You are deeply appreciated. God bless you and God Bless the United States of America!

call friends, with a prayer in my heart for their safety and well being. To see the forces of right and wrong at War with each other was a confirmation that our Heavenly Father will be there for us in times of need. I am thankful that my family all seems to be fine and a prayer goes out to all of you that your families are well, also. Yes, we will have trials, but . . .we must be strong and continue to build and strengthen our families as the challenges of the evil one continue to test us.
