Family Nights January, 2004
Here are a couple of games we play on family night. The time we met before, we had everyone fill out different questions about themselves. Then a few people organized it onto a homemade Jeopardy board for the next family night. The categories would be one of the questions, like favorite foods, or favorite actor. So when you pick an amount like $200, it would reveal the answer, ex. lasagna or Tom Hanks. Then whose turn it is has to figure out which family member it belongs to, (ex. Who is Ginny?). It's pretty fun and can acutally turn out to be difficult.
Another game we call the "artist" game. We turn on the digital music and program our favorite channels in it-we put in a variety, Country, Oldies, new songs etc to make it challenging for different people. 2 people play at a time and we flip thru the channels really fast and you have to figure out the person(s) who sing each song. The person who knew the most after we get thru the channel wins and takes on the next person and so on.
