ATTENTION UK FANS!
Many of you are aware the brothers taped an appearance on "An Audience With Donny" in October. There have been TV trailers mentioning their appearance - as well as several newspaper and magazine interviews with Donny talking about this. The brothers did not want to make the trip without giving notice to those of you in the UK, but they were bound by contract to keep this appearance under wraps for the "surprise" element on the show (even the media wasn't notified that they were doing this). The brothers sincerely appreciate the understanding of their UK fans, even though they are aware there was great disappointment with this.

We are happy to announce, however, that the program is about to air!

EXCITING NEWS
This past Friday, the brothers were part of a very exciting press conference in Branson, Missouri. Wayne, Merrill and Jay will be performing at Andy Williams' Moon River Theater for the 2003 season in Branson! The Moon River Theater will now house three of the biggest shows in Branson - Andy Williams, Glen Campbell and The Osmond Brothers. Photos from this press conference will be online soon.

The brothers will be performing a morning show Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM. The schedule for these performances is as follows:

UPCOMING INTERVIEWS
The brothers will soon begin their 8-performance date tour beginning in Mississauga, Ontario and ending in the Cleveland, Ohio area. With this tour, comes some exciting interviews...

Monday, September 23 - the brothers will be appearing on Canada AM. This show is aired across Canada (for those of you in the U.S., this show is similiar to Good Morning America). The brothers will probably go on air sometime around 8:00 AM EST.

Wednesday, September 25 - the brothers will be appearing on AM Buffalo, a television program in the Buffalo, New York area. This is a local talk show on air from 9-10:00 AM EST.

Wayne will record an interview with Radio CFRB Toronto tomorrow afternoon (we aren't sure when the station will be airing this interview).

Wayne was interviewed today by Laura Freeman of the Lake County Gazette. Her article will appear in the newspaper's Monday, September 23 edition. (This newspaper is not available online.) The article will spotlight the brothers' Ohio dates on this tour.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
David Osmond, who performed in Branson, MO and has been on tour with Wayne, Merrill and Jay Osmond since June 2000, has decided it is time for him to take a new career path. David's last performance date with the Osmond Brothers was at the private function held in Charlotte, NC August 27, 2002. David is continuing his studies at BYU, and is also looking forward to staying in Utah with his wife and daughter. Uncles Wayne, Merrill and Jay support their nephew's decision, and are very excited for David as he takes this new step. David thanks everyone for the wonderful kindness and support he's experienced as he has performed with his uncles; and said it has been a very rewarding and gratifying time in his life.

David is still performing in Utah, with an upcoming appearance in November (date unconfirmed at this time). He will be the featured soloist at a performance of Utah Valley State College's Jazz Ensemble.

David's website will eventually be moved from Osmond.com, and we'll make sure to post that information when it occurs. If you wish to send well wishes to David as he embarks on this new path, you may visit his guestbook.

DOCUMENTARY AIRDATE
The documentary, "The Scream! Heard 'Round the World" finally has its first airdate for the US broadcast. Wayne, Merrill and Jay were each interviewed for this documentary during their performance dates at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah this past February. There is some great old Osmond footage included in the documentary as well. This program is full of interviews and footage from a wide range of "teen idols." Don't miss it!

LIVE CD DESIGN WINS ANOTHER AWARD!
We are pleased to announce that the CD design for "Back On The Road Again" LIVE has won another award! The CD design was entered in the Annual International "Top Design Contest" sponsored by BFL&S (a leading printing industry publication). The design received a bronze award in the Commercial Print/Promotional Products category. This competition included thousands of entries from all over the world, with top awards given by category. We have been able to find another location to hold the brothers' Get Together, so we are now able to take more reservations! Visit the Get Together webpage for info and registration form, and get your reservation in today!

The main events for the brothers' GT will now be held at the Golden Corral (3551 Sherherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson, MO). The Golden Corral is within walking distance of the Country Tonite Theatre and the Honeysuckle Inn, and is across from the Imax Theater.

Please note: The Bear GT scheduled for October 24 will still be held at the Honeysuckle Inn Meeting Room.

NEW DOCUMENTARY
Back in February, the brothers were interviewed by Hallway Group Productions for a documentary on teen idols. The interview with the brothers took place at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah when they recently performed there. The documentary has been completed, and is entitled "The Scream!! Heard 'Round the World." An air date has not been set as of yet, but will be broadcast on the Trio network. The air date and stations carrying it will be announced on this news page, as soon as the broadcast has been set.

The documentary talks about teen idols dating as far back as Frank Sinatra - on to Paul Anka, Fabian, Elvis, The Beatles, THE OSMONDS, The Monkees, Paul Revere and The Raiders, Herman's Hermits, The Jacksons, Rick Springfield, The Partridge Family, The DeFranco Family, Leif Garrett, New Kids On The Block, Hanson, and right into the boy bands of today.

Wayne, Merrill and Jay all have various interview segments throughout, and there is a nice segment on The Osmonds with some old video footage.

Exciting news! The Osmond Brothers' "Back On The Road Again" LIVE CD has won a design award! The CD was entered by the brothers' Lansing, Michigan-based distributor of the CD, RBF, Inc., into a competition sponsored by the International Club of Printing House Craftsmen. The CD won first place in the CD design category for the Lansing Area Chapter of this organization. The brothers, RBF, Inc., and the CD's design team will all receive award plaques. We will know Tuesday, April 23 if the CD will move onto National Competition.

A STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE OSMOND BROTHERS
As most of you are aware, Wayne, Merrill and Jay recently made the decision to remove the Osmond Brothers' forum from osmond.com. Since this change, we've received several e-mails, and have heard quite a few comments.

To those of you who have shown your support for the brothers' decision, we thank you. However, we do understand there are some of you who are unhappy with this decision. While some of the comments made have been disappointing, everyone is certainly entitled to their feelings on this matter.

Anyone who has followed the Osmonds' careers, know they always go above and beyond for their fans. They love and care for all of you, and you'll not find many celebrities who take such an active part in personally contributing to their websites. They work closely with their staff to be sure the latest information is made available, that photos of current events are shared, they answer your questions, occasionally make special items available through silent auctions, and even have contribution from their children when possible. All of these things, and so much more, are done in an attempt to make everyone feel "connected" in the most positive way.

The brothers felt their forum was no longer an uplifting and positive aspect to the site, and though the decision was a hard one, it was one they felt had to be made. We ask that you take just a moment to reflect on the wonderful memories you have as a fan of the Osmonds, and hope that everyone will be able to come to support this decision.

NEW ON JAY'S SITE
There is a new segment just added to Jay's site, which he is very excited about. It is called "Jay's Perception." This segment will be two-fold: 1) He will be sharing papers he is writing for the Social Psychology course he is currently taking (the first one is online now), and 2) Jay will be answering questions on the gospel, family, or those involving life in general. This will be a sort of "advice column," much like the one he wrote anonymously for his Ward back in 1981/82. Jay is really looking forward to this new segment, and hopes everyone enjoys it as well.

UPDATES FROM UTAH
Wednesday, February 20th, Justin (Merrill's son) proposed to Janna Lee Boothe - she said yes! Pictures to follow.

The brothers have had great shows, wonderful crowds, and are thoroughly enjoying playing near their hometowns. Many Osmond family members have been on hand to enjoy the shows - and even pop up on stage. Donny surprised everyone and joined his brothers last night during the American Trilogy number, and Jay's oldest son Jason has been accompanying on congas. Nephew Doug joined in on Crazy Horses again, and Travis has been playing bass in the David Osmond Band. Everyone has been having a wonderful time at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah!

CHANGE IN MONKEEMANIA TOUR PLANS
Osmond Brothers Wayne, Merrill and Jay were slotted to be the special guest stars of the Monkeemania Tour with Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz, under the promotion of David Fishof Presents, Inc. This event was to take place beginning Memorial Day through Labor Day, 2002. Both groups are currently on tours of their own, however, due to scheduling conflicts, the Osmond Brothers and The Monkees will be unable to tour together.

INTERVIEW UPDATES
The brothers were interviewed yesterday by KSL-TV out of Utah. Some video footage will be shot this evening to round out the piece KSL will be airing on the brothers' performances at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah tonight, Friday, and Saturday.

In addition, they will be interviewed this evening by KNBC - the NBC affiliate out of L.A., so be watching for some spots to be run on the Osmond Brothers soon!

Wayne was interviewed by the Dallas Morning News yesterday. Josh Binson from the Dallas Morning News will be attending tomorrow night's performance at Thanksgiving Point, and a piece on the brothers should be running in this Sunday's edition.

SPECIAL GUEST FOR FLORIDA SHOWS
In December, the brothers had a Fireside at the Ft. Myers, Florida Stake, per the invitation of Troy Dunn. Looks like the brothers and Troy will be meeting up in Florida again, this time with Troy performing his comedy routine! Yes, Troy Dunn will be opening for the brothers at their Panama City Beach, FL, shows February 16, as well as in Silver Springs, FL, February 17. For those of you who aren't familiar with Troy Dunn, here is a little background on him:

With more than 150 national TV appearances each year for over a decade, Troy has been seen frequently on Good Morning America, Sally J. Raphael, CBS This Morning, Extra and dozens of others! His sell-out family comedy tour in 2001 (“Troy Dunn Live”) placed him “on the map” as one of the funniest clean comics in the U.S.A. His 2002 tour is already booked solid and new cities are being added every week! Troy has just released his first full-length comedy CD and video which was recorded live in Los Angeles, California during the 2001 Tour, and will be available at the brothers' shows in Panama City Beach and Silver Springs, FL.

The brothers are looking forward to a FUN time with Troy opening these Florida shows!

THE BROTHERS ARE BUSY IN UTAH!
Things are getting exciting in Utah – and it isn’t just the Olympics causing the stir! The Osmond Brothers are making several appearances tied in with their upcoming performances at The Barn at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah.

Tomorrow, February 7, Wayne, Jay, and David will appear on the local morning news shows for channels 4 and 13. Their spots will probably be airing sometime between 7:00 and 8:00 AM MST.

Friday, February 8, Wayne will be interviewed by radio stations KUBL 93.3 (which will be taped at 9:30 AM MST), and KOSY 106.5 at 10:30 AM MST. We believe the KOSY interview will be aired live – but keep an ear out for more details from these stations as to when they will be airing their interviews with Wayne.

In addition, the Deseret News will be interviewing Wayne and Jay tomorrow morning, with the piece running in their Sunday edition.

Besides all of this Utah hoopla...Wayne will be doing some interviews tying in with the brothers' upcoming Florida concerts February 16, 17 & 18. The Ocala Star Banner will be interviewing Wayne on Monday, and this will be spotlighting their February 17th Silver Springs appearance. Keep an eye out for that piece to run in the Ocala Star Banner soon.

Also, Friday, February 15, the Panama News Herald will be running a piece on the brothers, with a photo. Wayne will be doing that interview tomorrow.

Thursday, February 14th, all three brothers will be interviewed by Kids TV USA at Thanksgiving Point. We'll keep you updated on when that program will be aired.

AMERICAN FORK APPEARANCE
The Osmond Brothers have been invited to attend an event at the Gene Harvey Chevrolet dealership in American Fork, Utah. The event involves the signing of the Corvette pacecar that has been going through the cities along the Torch Relay route for the Olympics. This Corvette has been autographed by celebrities and dignitaries in all of these cities, and will eventually be auctioned off to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Wayne and Jay will be on hand for this event in American Fork on February 5th, at 9:00 AM. Merrill is going to try to run by to sign the car, but he does have a previous commitment which will prevent him from being able to join his brothers at 9:00 AM. This event sounds like it will be a lot of fun!

BROTHERS' UPDATES
There will be a piece on the brothers in the December 28th weekend section, Features & Options column, of the Wall Street Journal. The piece will spotlight the brothers' upcoming performance at the Barbara M. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Ft. Myers, Florida December 30th. The piece is supposed to also include a photo or two.

As mentioned earlier this week, the brothers will be doing a Fireside at the Ft. Myers Stake December 30th, 4:00 PM EST (please direct any questions regarding this Fireside to terrishoe@osmond.net). There is a very special component added to this - Jay's oldest son Jason, will also be speaking at the Fireside. In addition, Jason is planning to play a little percussion in the Florida shows December 28, 29, and 30th.

OSMOND BROTHERS - FLORIDA DATES
The brothers will be doing a Fireside while in Ft. Myers, Florida, December 30th. The Fireside will be taking place at the Ft. Myers Stake, which is approximately 10 minutes away from the Barbara B. Mann Theater, where the brothers will be performing that evening. The Fireside will be held at 4:00 PM EST. For more information, please contact terrishoe@osmond.net.

Wayne will be busy tomorrow (Dec. 18th) doing interviews with various DJ's and reporters in Florida. His interviews will be as follows:

9:30 AM EST - The Dean Miuccio Show, which airs 6-10 AM EST on WMGF out of Orlando, FL. This will be a live interview with Wayne.

10:20-10:30 AM EST - WMMB with Andrea Shea-King (there will also be a mention of the brothers in Andrea's column with Florida Today newspaper). This radio interview with Wayne will most likely be aired live.

12:30 PM EST - The Russ Rollins Show, which airs 12:00-3:00 PM EST on WTKS (Real Radio 104.1 FM) in Orlando. This is the top rated show in the Orlando market, and is also syndicated to West Palm Beach's WZZR 92.7, Tampa Bay/Sarasota's WYNF 105.9, and Ft. Myers/Naples' WFKS 100.1. This will probably be a live interview as well.

1:00 PM EST - Mark Merrimount will be interviewing Wayne for the Ft. Myers News Press. Mark was a reporter who covered the Branson, MO shows, and is excited to be interviewing Wayne at his current assignment. We will share this interview on the brothers' website once it becomes available.

2:00 PM EST - Nancy Stetson from the Naples Daily News will be interviewing Wayne.

As far as the radio interviews, it is not certain what can be picked up via the internet, so if anyone discovers websites where these interviews can be heard, please contact terrishoe@osmond.net, and we will be happy to share the information with everyone. Those of you in Florida who may get the newspapers listed, keep an eye out for when the pieces on the brothers will be run, but it is likely it will be within the week.

A MESSAGE FROM THE BROTHERS
When the brothers had to cancel their shows in Branson November 14 & 15, good friend Tony Orlando stepped in and performed the 2:00 and 8:00 shows both days. Tony’s performances were wonderful, and he took a moment during his shows to mention Mother Osmond and ask the audience to pray for her. In addition, Tony incorporated the brothers’ cast into his show, so they were able to keep working during the brothers’ absence. The brothers are extremely appreciative of Tony’s friendship, and willingness to help out during this trying time.

The brothers returned to the Osmond Family Theater stage Friday, November 16, and were warmly welcomed back to Branson after their quick trip home to Utah to be with their family. They are very touched by the many prayers that have been felt by the entire family. The brothers send their thanks for these wonderful messages of support and prayer, and ask everyone to continue to join them in praying for their dear mother.
