The purpose of establishing and managing
the Osmond.com website has always been to provide a "home" for Osmond fans.
Osmond.com is proud to make available a wealth of information about the
members of the famous Osmond family on its home web pages. Guestbooks,
a comprehensive PhotoGallery, the Osmond Discography, individual family
pages - all these and much more are provided in appreciation to their friends
and fans for the interest they show in supporting and getting to know the
family as performers and individuals.
At Osmond.com, we are continually searching
for ways to offer fans as much information as we can to help connect them
to the family they have devoted themselves to following. We are also committed
to finding innovative uses for the Os.com website space. Backstage
developed from these efforts! This exclusive site gives fans a place
to come together to enjoy special features and benefits not found anywhere
else on Os.com. Most importantly - Backstage
was produced with the fans in mind! Over the years, many fans
have expressed an interest in knowing more about the lives of family members,
particularly the type of news that might be overlooked in the media. Marriages,
births missions, and other news have been a constant source of interest
to long-time fans. Fans can also interact with each other through
exclusive Chat and Forum features, view unique photos articles, and
visit a variety of special feature pages.
Since Backstage opened in March of 1998,
many fans have joined to be a part of the many features of the site.

You won't want to

Please make sure you include your email
address in all snail mail transactions. Otherwise, we'll have no way of
notifying you with the password. It is BEST if you have an email address.
These can be obtained free of charge and quite easily from a number of
sources including Yahoo.
It is very important that you verify your email address is correct before
sending it to us. If there are any errors, it is likely that there will
be a delay in initiating your access to Backstage. Thanks!
Once we receive your
order for a Backstage subscription, if you pay by credit card and give
us a valid email address, you can receive a temporary password within 24
hours of placing your order. If you pay by check, your order will
be completely processed before your password is sent to you via an email.
This will take about 4 weeks depending on the time it takes for the bank
to clear your check.

Important
Note
What
won't be available Backstage:
Because
most news is time sensitive, for the most part, news will not be announced
Backstage first. We believe that ALL fans of the Osmonds should be
able to receive Important news. We will try our best to put some
updates Backstage before the main site so that Backstage Members get the
updates first.
Some
people have thought they would receive something in the mail after joining,
such
as photos or some sort of kit. Everything members get is on the site.
Nothing is sent by U.S. mail.
Our
goal is to have 1 chat every 3 months. So, four each year.
Although we have been averaging more than four which has been nice :-)
Backstage
is a subscription service that allows members access to information and
services that are not generally available elsewhere. It was developed to
help the Osmond Network pay for the equipment, resources, and other expenses
associated with running and maintaining the osmond.com website. As such,
we depend on our subscribers to obey copyright laws regarding any content
they encounter on Backstage, so that we may maintain the exclusivity for
those who subscribe to Backstage. Federal law mandates that you may not
copy in ANY form (copy and paste, copy text only, copy images, etc) the
contents of our website, and proscribes strict penalties for doing so.
Osmond
Network LLC will revoke the membership of anyone who shares their Backstage
password, or shares Backstage content, in any form, with anyone outside
the family members who reside in their home, and will prosecute flagrant
violators to the full extent of the law.
We
tend to feel that most people who admire the Osmonds are honest and upstanding,
and would not knowingly break the law or undermine the ability of the Osmond
Network to maintain their websites by offering services for sale. Unfortunately,
there are a few who have deliberately violated these laws. If you know
of anyone in this category, please let us
know so that we may inform them of the rules and laws regarding this.
