How do you feel about it now?
Knowing and studying the disease as we have, we know that it does not have to be terminal. It can be dealt with and you can live a full and happy life with it.

How has your family handled it?
Our family has accepted it. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Every single person in this world has some kind of challenge that they deal with. This just happens to be something that Alan deals with in our family. It's something that we can do, just like anyone else.
 

How does Alan deal with it?
It's one of those things that is a nuisance to Alan but one that doesn't stop him. He has a positive, strong attitude and a fighting attitude. He will not allow it to get him down. It will not stop him from accomplishing those things that he wants to do.
