David Osmond

David Osmond is the 4th son of Alan and Suzanne Osmond.

He has been the lead singer of the Osmonds Second Generation since he was 4.  Together with his brothers they started as a Barbershop Quartet. Then they formed a pop group, The Osmond Boys, which later evolved into The Osmonds 2nd G. During his High School years he performed with his family at the Osmond Family Theater in Branson, Missouri. On the musical production stage, David seamlessly stepped into the theatrical lead role of "Joseph" in Joseph and the Amazing  Technicolor Dreamcoat. He earned public acclaim when he filled in for his Uncle Donny in the 1998 Salt Lake City run. He continued as Joseph on the National Tour afterwards.

He began serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Madrid, Spain in October 1998.  He attended Brigham Young University (BYU) as well as New York University (NYU) where he was asked by the President to share his talents there in a production of Guys and Dolls. He recreated his role as Joseph at the Tuacahn Theater in the summer of 2002 along with a new role in Annie Get Your Gun on alternate nights at the theater.

David continued his education at Utah Valley State College (UVSC) while being involved in numerous musical projects and performances.  He has been working as a studio musician and guest artist for the last several years as well as writing and developing music for an upcoming solo project.

David met the love of his life, Valerie, in 2005 and is currently involved in their wedding plans for this upcoming year.

David’s interests include: playing the guitar, traveling, basketball, snowboarding, and golf.
